download .zip file (55mb) as of this writing, this is the most recent full-length original maus release. finished in 2006, it, like 'recogniser' is a pretty coherent and structured album. composed using logic pro (version 7 at that time) and a variety of software synths. i started playing around with granular sampling and processing a bit more here, and employed a few other new techniques to create more engrossing ambiences and "sound fields" (for lack of a better word.

track 3 (tijd) and track 11 (droevig) are a couple of all-time personal favourites, but there are actually a number of standouts for me on this album.

the album and track titles are all in dutch - not for any particular reason, but this resulted in the album being released on dutch netlabel "urlauten".
